In the last week I have spent several late nights (busily working away until 4am-5am) creating a new masterpiece, for someone at work.

It’s called an Explosion Box.
Basically, it’s a 3-dimensional box … which when undone, the sides collapse down – revealing a mystery inside. As it unfolds, you can have many layers inside.
For this project, I decided to have 3 different layers. The outermost layer was related to this person moving to a new house, the next layer was about friendship, and the innermost layer was all about his birthday.

As you can see from the pictures below, a lot of work has gone into creating the explosion box.
It also seems that others were impressed by it, as I have picked up orders to create 2 more.
